This is a fairly comprehensive footprint calculator and guidance workbook combination designed for voluntary sector organisations. The calculator includes paper and water use as well as energy and various types of transport use although currently the transport part of the calculator does not seem to work. The system allows multiple meters and shows historic usage graphically and includes price of fuels so that monetary savings can be calcuated. The 'improve my carbon footprint' part of the tool poses questions about and recommends many detailed existing and possible actions/improvements. The workbook deals with the organisational changes that are required to get actions acheived, as well as the detailed technical aspects of energy auditing such as different types of lighting, heating controls etc. The key outputs of the tool are the footprint monitoring reports which can be used for information on notice boards etc and an advisory report which compiles a set of status reports and recommendations based on data from the detailed energy audit and footprint data.
