Sabento - Software for the Assessment of Biotechnology Processes. Sabento allows modelling of biotechnical production processes. Sabento can support you in the early stages of process development, and also in sales and marketing. Risks can be minimized and alternatives can be analysed. All three aspects of sustainablility are considered, including global warming potential as well as economic and social effects. The software is prepared for the assessment of production with microorganisms, cell cultures and enzymes. The basic model contains all process units of a biotechnological process from preparation of media components to down stream processing and formulation of the final product. Of course, it is possible to leave out any process unit if it is not needed.
